根據Formula1.com官網報導，效力Racing Point（前為印度力量）的車手佩雷斯 (Sergio Perez) 在Covid-19病毒測試中呈陽性反應，確診新冠肺炎（俗稱武漢肺炎，簡稱武肺），現時正自我隔離，並將缺席本週末英國銀石大奬賽 (British Grand Prix at Silverstone)。

至於車隊方面，根據Racing Point及平治車隊 (Mercedes) 的協議，Racing Point可找平治後備車手雲當(Stoffel Vandoorne) 或古鐵雷斯 (Esteban Gutierrez) 代替佩雷斯參賽，然後雲當正為Formual E賽事作準備，故古鐵雷斯現已出發前往銀石；另一方面，Racing Point 金主卻屬意以侯根保 (Nico Hulkenberg) 代替佩雷斯出賽，至少最後決定如何，本週末自有分曉。
