hmm... Tri, I guess there is only one way to find out that lohh. Just wait until I come back to Taiwan, and hopefully we'll see each other in a friendly competition on the track someday...
I'm not sure what car you drive, but I have feeling you do not believe an under power car of 130ps like AE86 or AW11 can defeat a 200ps up car... maybe Initial D is just a comic book, but it's comic book based on facts, facts that a 130ps car can actually out run a 200ps up cars like Skyline, RX7, EVO... and it's been proven on the track here and in Japan... of course, if a driver's skill is beyond his car's performance then beating an under power car will be easy when passing straight way or sideway... in such case, won't you feel more proud to compete someone your own class, hmm?
oh, shitt... that's illegal move, tri. you'll get black flag for that! =P unless you have lots of money replacing his fender and your front bumper... being dirty player to win is not impossible. =D
I see.... if thats the case then those guy must have hard time fixing their car, since there's no parts for it, or they have to wait to order the parts from japan. I'm guessing probably there's no Nissan's 180, 240, 300zx in taiwan huh? ugh, what happend to taiwan's auto industry... is because there's no parking for everyone or what... (sigh...)
No? Then why is someone driving a RX7, S13 Silivia, AE86 in the CTMSA drift event tournament in Taiwan? Maybe there's still some left from back in the 80's, just very hard to find...
Tri... I agree with what you said above, thou I just want add one thing; one of advantage of drifting through corner is blocking your opponent's lane. If you drift side way through apex, your opponent will not able to pass you and you can still win the race.... based on my track experience.
Hey, Hey... if any of you DO ship your car back to Taiwan, let me know, ok. How you did it? How much you paid total... etc, etc. I think my friend can help me ship it back, but I'm not sure if it will pass the custom or not... let me know, thank you all... Geo87aw11@hotmail.com
Thanks Anthony... I'll print it out. Looks like it's going to cost me a lot of money... = That's true... not all car is worth to bring back, after all it's not like I'm driving a brand new Civic, Merceds, or Corvette. I just need a car for commute to work in Taiwan, that's all. At least is sure is better than taking a bus or moped. Unfortunately the auto market in Taiwan is still too small, there's not much of choice for consumer, import a car back is just sounds like a good alternative choice, but look at the "cost", I think I'll better think twice about bring one back...
