台灣賓士寄望衝刺年終業績的A系列小車預訂昨（21）日上市，沒想到年初才發表的賓士B系列小車銷售先受衝擊，市場意外掀起B系列「棄單潮」，轉而購買A系列小車。

據了解，許多原本訂購B系列但被告知明年才有車可交的車主，最近頻頻接獲經銷商詢問是否願意提前交車，經瞭解後才發現，許多訂戶「喜新厭舊」，放棄即將交車的B系列訂單，轉購A系列新車。

原本因為缺車「價格很硬」的B系列車，最近檯面下議價空間突然放大至10萬元以上，換算折價幅度高達6.5％，且部分經銷商還傳出有現車可交。某賓士經銷商坦承，為不讓遭棄單的B系列成為跨年份庫存，只能促銷折價出清。

賓士原本寄望今年B、A兩款小車接力上市，能帶來「1加1大於2」的效果；無奈B系列年初上市後，一直缺車，熱況無法反映在品牌新車掛牌數字上。

賓士經銷商說，最近好不容易盼到B系列車運來台灣，卻又碰上更新的A系列上市，造成大批B系列買家轉購A系列，「結果並沒有把餅做大！」

據監理所新車領牌統計，賓士（含水貨）11月前20天新車領牌數為448輛、年減2.4％，同時間整體進口車市場年增13.2％；累計年初至11月20日的新車領牌數為 1.13萬輛、年減1.7％。無論單月或累積銷量，賓士都是三大豪華車品牌（雙B與凌志）中唯一衰退者。

SUZUKA, Japan - Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher has confirmed he will retire for good at the end of current Formula One season.

Mercedes had already announced last week that Schumacher would be replaced by Lewis Hamilton next season.

While there had been speculation the 43-year-old German could move to Sauber, he instead announced today that he would end his career.

Schumacher holds the record for number of championships and for grand prix wins, with 91.

He began his career in 1991 and won two titles with Benetton, and then five for Ferrari.

He initially retired in 2006 but made a comeback with Mercedes in 2010.
