本來在蒙扎的大雨中進入Q3對於本田留在F1是個好消息，但范多恩表示在關鍵的Q3衝刺中本田引擎再次丟失了動力，“進入蒙扎Q3是很美好的下午，賽道條件可不簡單。有點遺憾，我們沒能在Q3發起認真的嘗試，因為我們再次丟失動力……”
“我們也沒機會做真正的單圈衝刺，因為排位賽中你嘗試尋找適當的極限，你會冒額外的風險。目前我們不知道問題所在，但明天我們會處於一個合理的位置下。”

·Vandoorne used dry condition setting in the qualifying session.The team think its the right choose for the race.
·The problem they had in Q3 is suspected to be the MGU-K drive didnt work properly.
·The shaft of MGU-K is a consumables in the rules,so if its the shaft,it can be changed without penalty.But still need to see what caused the issue.
·Alonso said he want to go to Q3 but when he found vandoorne's time wasnt safe,he stopped pushing.
