兩輪最大製造商Honda已連續三年選在東協市場第一大國印尼發佈MotoGP廠車RC213V
有別於去年於賽場上與粉絲共襄盛舉中登場，今年選擇Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo)發表2017年式RC213V
今年的比賽對Repsol Honda來說仍舊充滿諸多艱困挑戰，繼去年引擎多了一根反向平衡軸
2017年更將使用多年的Screamer引擎，大改為兩缸同時點火的Big Bang引擎
在尚無實戰經驗下，今年新引擎能否跟車架、電控無縫銜接，其整體表現是好是壞仍是未知數
而管理階層也是面臨考驗，中本修平退休後，高階主管大搬風，新任HRC負責人桑田哲宏(Tetsuhiro Kuwata)接掌車隊
桑田和他的團隊負責開發RC212V、RC213V電控系統，並將ASIMO的姿態感知器進一步融入賽車上
他的走馬上任也顯示本田對電控層面的重視
未來HRC將分為服部直樹(左一)管理營銷、桑田哲宏(左二)車隊經理、國分信一(右一)技術總監三個系統來帶領車隊
